Sweden Never Disappoints You
Some places in the world never disappoints you when you are there as a traveler. And Sweden is not an exception to this fact. Top notch attractions grace the entire country. The limited number of words would impose restrictions in talking of the each of the fabulous attractions in the country. However, I believe that only few of the destinations mentioned here would be enough to inspire you to pay a visit to beautiful country.
The glorious capital city Stockholm fascinates you with palaces, wonderful flavor and collection of museums. I am sure you must not have come across such a great number of museums which have plethora of antiques and facts to be explored. The Vasa museum in Stockholm preserves the oldest ship of the world which was restored from the bottom of the sea. This ship sank in the sea 300 years ago. The Nordic museum holds the tools and costumes used by the Swedish throughout ages. Skansen, an open air museum contains old buildings of 19th century and earlier.
A number of castle with architectural excellence also make the tourist aware of the glorious past of Sweden. Skokloster Castle and Gripsholm Castle take the credit of making Sweden a popular destination for Archeologists as well as travel freaks. No matter how busy you are, you cannot afford to miss out on the historical castles. And yes, the land of Santa Claus, Lapland is a dream destination of children in Sweden. It is a magical spot that encompass a lot for adventure admirer. Highest peaks, Cross-country dog sledding, national parks of Sarek and Padjelanta and snow skiing are enough to satisfy the adventure seekers.
Sweden is also known for crystals. You can find the Kingdom of Crystal in Smaland province in Southeast Sweden. World famous glassworks are the hallmarks of this place. Kosta is the oldest glasswork in the country and you are stunned when you see the glassworker work in front of the furnaces. So for crystal treasures, do visit the Kingdom of Crystal. As I said earlier, the list of attraction in Sweden is too long to last. However, by now, Sweden's map must be with you in order to plan visit to this country I am sure.
